A Tennessee vacation...
We had planned to head to the western U.S. again this year, but one of our air conditioner units went out, and so we opted for a more economical vacation close to home. My wonderful husband Ed and I spent 2 weeks (minus the 3 days in Chattanooga) camping in our trusty pop-up camper. As always it was great fun and we always seem to come back feeling closer to one another and enjoying life just a little bit more. We went to Fall Creek Falls State Park for two nights where my best friend Peggy's son Matthew is a ranger (I still see him as that cute little 4 year old boy digging in the dirt and six year old Suzannah watching...). Peggy came up for Saturday and Sunday so we got to hang out with Peggy, Matthew and his wife Leigh Ann, children Reagan and Josh all together. Matthew even helped fix the thermostat in the Bronco that we had noticed en route there! In Chattanooga we took a cruise on the river, rode the incline, and went to see Rock City. Yep, we did.
