Indiana trip...

Ed and I went to Indiana this past weekend so Ed could help Sam build some bookcases (they turned out great but I forgot to take a picture of the final product!!) It was an all-day affair so Drea, Adelaide and I went (what else?) shopping! Actually some of it was grocery shopping and the majority other than that was window shopping, but we had a good time. It didn't seem like it, but we were gone for over 6 hours! Of course, the stores are 45 minutes away so that made a difference.

Friday night, Sam and Drea had a dinner invitation from the new pulpit minister at the church, Scott and Lisa, and I told them to go ahead because I got to babysit Adelaide! I love doing that. Ed went to bed pretty early but Adelaide and I read books, I gave her a bath and did all the grandmother stuff. It was great fun!

Time to leave came all too soon... I really love Sam and Drea, their hearts for the Lord, their love for one another, and their love for Adelaide. Thankfully, Suz and her family and I plan to go back up to Indiana in a couple of weeks so I can see them all again. But it's hard living so far from grandchildren... and children.

I can't wait to see Adelaide! (Oh, and you too Mom.) ;)
I'm glad you finally updated your post! I needed to see new photos of Adelaide! Glad you had fun, too! I don't feel too sorry for you though...Indiana and DC are not nearly as far away as Canada!
