Grandkid Tour...
Wow! What a whirlwind's trip! I logged in 2158 miles from Thursday morning till Monday night, Memphis to Princeton, WV to Springfield, VA; then the return Springfield to Louisville, KY and back to Memphis. Mom and my cousin Mary Lynn and I had a great time!
The "twins" (my uncle and my Mom) Frank and Frances got to spend the evening of their 95th birthday together. We spent the night there in Princeton where he lives and went back over the next morning for a short visit before heading East.
Mom got to visit a childhood friend of her's for a few minutes in Roanoke and then we arrived at Suz' in Springfield Friday afternoon.
Mom was happy to meet her newest great grandchild Jess Samuel Landry Foster (age 2 1/2 months) and see his siblings Ian (10) and Evelynn (5).

Sunday we went to church at Fairfax Church of Christ http://www.fxcc.org where we attended when I was stationed in that area and got to see several old friends there again.

I had a great time, but I have to say it's good to be home. I also got the good news today that I passed my oral exam and will be getting my LMFT license later this week. Yippee!!!!!!!!!
